Match Referee Sunil Chaturvedi found Pathan guilty of violating Law 2.7 of BCCI's domestic cricket rules by throwing the ball dangerously towards Bangar in the morning session of the fourth and final day at the Karnail Singh Stadium here.

Bangar played back a delivery from Pathan who stopped the ball in his follow through before throwing it towards the Railways opener instead of directing it to the wickets.

Bangar ducked down to avoid the throw but the match referee considered it a grave enough offence to dock full match fee from the former India pacer.
