Kolkata/Jamshedpur, Mar 10 (IBNS): The match day six of the 6th edition of the U-20 I-League saw four exciting encounters, played at JRD Tata Sports Complex and Gopal Maidan in Jamshedpur.

Mohun Bagan was held by Sesa Goa to a goalless draw in the first match of the day played at the Gopal Maidan. The mariners were clearly the better team on the day but Sesa Goa held their nerves and ended the match with a 0-0 score line.

In the second match played at JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur Tata Football Academy edged past ONGC by a margin of 2-1. ONGC took the lead through a Kamaluddin Khan goal on the 11th min and held on to the lead till the lemon break.

Tata Football Academy restored parity through a 30 yard free-kick on the 74th min scored by K. Udanta Singh. It was the 84th minute strike by the substitute Rajak Nag which sealed the match in favor of Tata Football Academy.

The third match of the day saw East Bengal playing against Mumbai FC. The Bengal club won the match with a margin of 2-0 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.

For East Bengal, Jiten Murmu opened the account on the 29th min while Biswajit Das added on to the tally on the 68th min through a beautiful move from the half line.

The last match of the day was played between Air India and Shillong Lajong at Gopal Maidan, Jamshedpur. The north-eastern club came from behind to hold the airmen to a 2-2 draw.

Yungrei Khokyar scored twice in 6th and 12th min for Air India to edged ahead quite early in the match. Bipin Singh reduced the margin for the Shillong club by netting the ball on the 36th min. The half-time score line read 2:1 in favor of the airmen.

Shillong Lajong restored parity with a 77th minute strike from Lalram Muana thus ending the match in a draw with each team tied at two (2) goals a piece.
