New Delhi, Mar 12 (IBNS) Union Home Minister P Chidambaram on Friday said Pakistan has been a ‘very difficult’ neighbor since 1947.
“Pakistan has been a very difficult neighbour from 1947. But we cannot change our neighbor,” said Chidambaram at India Today conclave here.
He further said all terrorist outfits in Pakistan are supported by the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), the largest intelligence service in the country.
"It is no secret that every militant organization in Pakistan, including Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad, is supported by the ISI,” the Home Minister said.
Talking about 26/11 attacks, Chidambaram said Pakistan should give voice samples of all the suspects to India immediately.
“If it is proved that the Mumbai Terror Attack originated from Pak soil then we will respond swiftly and decisively,” he added.
The Minister also hinted that a second round of Foreign Secretary level talks may take place between the two countries only if Pakistan is ready to take up terrorism as its ‘main agenda’.
