Mumbai, May 18 (IBNS): As the probe into the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing continued, the Mumbai Police on Saturday raided a 5 star hotel here which was allegedly occupied by pacer S Sreesanth.

Rajasthan Royals players Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were arrested along with 11 bookies from Mumbai on Thursday for their role in spot-fixing.

The Mumbai Police reportedly seized laptops from the hotel.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police Special Cell teams have been sent to four Indian cities in connection to the scam.

The teams have been sent to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Kolkata to conduct searches and track the money trail in the scam.

The police also visited cricketer Ajit Chandila's house at Faridabad city in Haryana on Saturday for interrogation.

The Jaipur Police said they will submit call records of different bookies.

Pertinently, the Jaipur cops had seized 300 mobiles from bookies in the last few months.

The Tamil Nadu Police on Friday said they have arrested six people for allegedly involving in betting in the ongoing IPL matches.

The police said mobile phones and computers were also recovered from them.

The police conducted raids in 13 places in Chennai in connection to the matter on Friday.

The police, however, said the arrests were only related to betting and not fixing.

A Delhi court on Thursday remanded to five-day custody Sreesanth, Chavan, Chandila and 11 bookies arrested in connection to the scam.

Hours after three cricketers were arrested on Thursday, the Delhi Police revealed the nexus between the players and confirmed the involvement of Mumbai 'underworld' in the scam. In media the buzz is about Dawood Ibrahim's crime syndicate D-Company's shadow over the IPL scam.

Giving details of the spot fixing scandal that rocked the ongoing cash-rich IPL, Delhi Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar said three matches were fixed.

The Delhi Police also showed video footage against all the cricketers who were arrested in connection the scam.

The police are scanning the various IPL matches, including those not involving Rajasthan Royals, to spot anomalies based on taped conversations of bookies.
