Ranchi, Sept 24 (IBNS) The high speed Rajdhani Express trains were among other trains that were stranded in Jharkhand on Monday after a BJP MLA organized a blockade demanding stoppages of express trains in his constituency.
The blockade was organized at Parsabad Railway station in Koderma district by the MLA and about 500 of his supporters.
He demanded that all express trains must stop at Parsabad besides reservation counters should be set up.
The BJP activists have demanded opening of reservation counters at Parsabad station and stoppage of Mumbai-Howrah and other express trains at Parsabad station.
The three Rajdhani trains bound from Howrah, Sealdah and Bhubaneswar were stranded among other trains.
