Brookfield, Wisconsin, Oct 22 (IBNS): A gunman who went on a shooting spree at a day spa at Brookfield suburb of Milwaukee of midwestern US state of Wisconsin killed three people and injured four before killing himself on Sunday.
A Sikh temple firing by a man 11 weeks ago killed seven, including the gunman, in the same Milwaukee area.
On Sunday Radcliffe Haughton, 45, also shot himself dead after he shot dead others, following what police believed is an outcome of a family feud.
Reports said the man was angry with his estranged wife who used to work in the Azana Salon & Spa across from Brookfield Square mall and wanted to kill her but it is not clear if among the three dead was his wife.
According to Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinel, three dead were all women, "all shot as Radcliffe F. Haughton stormed through the salon bent on killing his estranged wife, an employee there."
It said about a dozen people were in the building at the time.
"Police wouldn't say Sunday whether Haughton's wife, Zina, was among the dead," according to Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinel.
Brookfield police chief Dan Tushaus said the incident is probably sparked by domestic violence.
This is Milwaukee area's second mass shooting in less than three months.
Media report said the killer was a husband, father, homeowner and ex-Marine.
In 2005, at least seven died in firing by a gunman inside a church during service in Milwaukee.
