Delhi: Smog situation improves

New Delhi, Nov 14 (IBNS): The capital on Wednesday woke up to a clearer morning that it had expected.
There has been a slight improvement in the the smog situation here at a time when experts thought the situation was likely to get worse.
According to a report citing the pollution control board, the visibility level on the morning after Diwali was was 1000 metres.
Till a few days ago, Delhi a constant smog refused to lift from Delhi for nearly a week triggering respiratory problems in a large number of people.
Officials from Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh had a meeting on Saturday to discuss ways to tackle the problem.
Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit chaired the meeting.
