Genelia walks the ramp at IRFW

Panaji, Nov 30 (IBNS) Actress Genelia D’Souza looked stunning in the bridal pastel pink ensemble at the India Resort Fashion Week (IRFW) Thursday evening. She was the showstopper for fashion designer Neeta Lulla.
Genelia’s admiration for Neeta’s collection is unconditional as she feels the latter’s wears are easy to carry. Neeta had designed Genelia’s bridal saree in February when she tied the knot with her long time boyfriend Ritesh Deshmukh.
“When you are getting married, the bridal clothes tend to be very heavy and after sometimes it just gets very tiring. It gets difficult to deal with heavy embroidered clothing. When I got here and tried out the clothes designed by Neeta, I was surprised to find them really light and easy to carry,” the actress, who is known for bubbly character, said.
Extremely excited about being in Goa for the second edition of the fashion show, Genelia said she has attended several weddings hosted in Goa. “Beach weddings are a growing trend. This line of clothing is perfect for a wedding along the coast,” she added.
Neeta’s collection is perfect for the brides who dream of taking her vows or ‘saat’ pheras on the silver sands. This is a niche in fashion that Neeta pioneered a decade ago and with this collection at the IRFW the designer moved a step further into the realms of resort wedding couture.
