HCL annual revenue up by 18.6%

New Delhi, July 29 (IBNS): Indian IT giant HCL Technologies has posted annual revenues of Rs 12,565 crores, an increase of 18.6 per cent increase from last year.
They reported a 2 per cent increase Net Income, which touched Rs 1,303 crores this year.
The company announced their annual financial results for fiscal year (FY) 2009-10 and also for the fourth quarter (Q4) on Thursday
For the Q4 as well, the company announced a 11.4 per cent (quarter-on-quarter) and 17.8 per cent (year-on-year) increase in revenues which amounted to Rs 3,425 crores.
Net income for the fourth quarter was Rs 342 crores.
The company also reported an increase of 10,341 in the employee headcount for the FY, taking the total to 64,557.
HCL CEO, Vineet Nayar, said, “In the last 2 eventful years the top Indian IT Companies added $2.9 Bn of incremental revenues.”
“HCL contributed $844 Mn translating to 30 per cent share of the incremental revenues. This has been made possible by our conscious and focused investment in employee and value centricity,” he added.
HCL Technologies is a $ 5 billion enterprise based in Noida, close to New Delhi, India and offers services including Software, Remote Infrastructure Management, Engineering and R&D Services and BPO.
