Kareena to play ‘Munni’

Mumbai, Feb 29 (IBNS): Kareena Kapoor, who is acclaimed for her performances in a range of film genres, seems to be the latest hot favourite for filmmakers especially when it comes to shaking a leg on sizzling item numbers.
She earlier left the eyeballs rolling by showing her curvy dance moves in Ra.One’s trademark song ‘Chammak Challo’ and she is now killing thousands of hearts by her performance in ‘Dil Mera Muft Ka’ in ‘Agent Vinod’.
However, it seems that Kareena is in no mood to call it off this soon. If the buzz is to be believed, the actress has taken the ‘Munni’ tag from Malaika Arora Khan by consenting to do ‘Munni’ in upcoming Dabangg 2.
The item song, which is rumored to be on the same lines of super hit song ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ of Dabangg, will also feature Salman Khan since the two look great together on screen. Their amazing chemistry in ‘Bodyguard’ was precisely the reason why they have been paired together yet again.
There were speculations earlier that hinted that Amrita Arora, a close-friend of Kareena, will be seen in the song with her elder sister Malaika Arora Khan. However, the rumor dozed off as soon as it erupted.
Malaika this time might be seen in producer’s shoes and Sajid-Wajid or Lalit Pandit might compose the music of the film.
